Travis McCoy, Bruno Mars, and THE ROOTS!

The Jimmy Fallon Show and The Roots are match made in heaven. Wait let me explain first, now Black Thought stated in February of 2009, that when the recession hit the band went into economic turmoil so they were looking for a new way to boost up out of the recession funk. Now the idea for the Roots to join the show was from Fallon's friend Neal Brennan, you remember Neal from the Chappelle Show.


Well, ?uestlove was the music director of the Chappelle Show, Jimmy Fallon pitched it to them and The Roots agreed. ?uestlove stated that connection "enabled them to survive". The pro for Mr. Fallon is that 1. He gets a legendary band and 2. The Roots bring a different market and audience along with them.
