The AJ 1 Armor molds a Foamposite-like shell into an Air Jordan 1 silhouette. This type of injection-molded foam upper is finding its way onto more and more models, with the release of the Air Force 1 Foamposite just last week. The shells on these models are thinner and lighter than you would find on the original Foamposite. The reflective silver on this AJ 1 Armor makes a nice contrast to the Copper Foamposite that released in February of 2010. If those were Penny’s, then these are Silver Dollars. The silver looks even better on top of an icy blue sole.
