Interesting nugget here, the Vocader was invented in the 1930's and was used to mask the voice of military officials in WWII. Now to the young folks we know the Auto-Tune. Check this out, here is a book on the Vocader by Dave Tompkins called How to Wreck A Nice Book. Some think the auto-tune has hurt music, that to me is a bunch of pish-tosh it enhances and advances the musical spectrum.  Just a bunch of old heads complainin or young kids who won't let in transformation.
