Shirley Sherrod Civil Service History
Shirley Sherrod has around 45 Civil Rights experience and the determination for change. She joined the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee in 1965 which was dedicated to integration and voting rights of Blacks. Her husband Charles Sherrod was the Director of the SNCC of Southwest Georgia. Ms. Sherrod was w welfare activist and worked on the "New Communities" Project which was the largest black farming organization. She has a long history and pedigree in helping not only blacks but all races fight for their land like Mr. Spooner. Live life for Knowledge
